"I had lots of choice and involvement with my treatment"

About: Inclusion Matters Sefton

(as the patient),

I was nervous and unsure about attending my appointment at IM but I am so glad that I had the courage to go.

My therapist was a pleasant lady who immediately made me feel comfortable to talk with her about my problems. She really took the time to listen to me and made me feel at ease.

I had lots of choice and involvement with my treatment and I never felt pressure to discuss matters that I felt were personal to me.

IM have helped me manage my thought processes and have given me the confidence to resolve my issues independently in the future.

I would not change anything about the service. I was even invited to attend again if I needed further help or a place to go for a talk.

Many thanks!

Dear Handy487,

Many thanks for taking the time to leave your feedback.

Lots of people feel nervous and unsure before they come, so I hope that your words of courage and success will help them to access our service.

I am pleased to hear that you felt at ease and that you have found ways of resolving your issues.

Best wishes for the future,

Lizzie
