What I liked
I was recently admitted for suspected gallstones via the gp section of the hospital.
Whilst it did take a few hours to get pain killers, after that the nurses were excellent - well 98% of them
One nurse on k1 ward, was lovely with one of the elderly patients, as well as everyone else, always checking on her when she could.
Also, the staff that brought the meals around was lovely all the time. Came to say goodbye when we left before he left for the day, which was really sweet and was nice to have 'been noticed' somehow.
What could be improved
Not to ignore the 'elderly patients' that 'don't make a fuss'.
Other people had to ask on k1 ward room 5 for a patient to have extra blanket or that they were upset or their table was too high for them to eat, as everyone was that busy at times, they just assumed they were ok if they didn't buzz for them.
"I was recently admitted for suspected ..."
