Nobody would choose to spend the early hours of Bank Holiday Sunday in A&E with a suspected DVT, but the wonderful staff at Hinchingbrooke made it much less stressful than it could have been. We were seen incredibly quickly and tests were ordered immediately and morphine administered to sort out the excruciating pain. The staff were efficient, explained everything really clearly without being patronising and were generally as professional as we could possibly ask. A bed was found really quickly and the transfer was seamless. Thankfully, all the tests turned out to negative and the discharge was equally speedy. We just want to say thank you to everyone we encountered - you are amazing.
