I had to use the drop in centre at St Cross recently for urgent treatment to a scolded foot. I was the only patient waiting. The reception staff were brilliant and I was seen by a very pleasant male nurse who did an excellent job of first aid. It was very unfortunate that the toilet in that department was in a disgusting state with poo all over the seat and down the outsides of the pan. Not the fault of the staff but toilets should be inspected and cleaned if necessary every hour to minimise infections. I should have said something to reception but didn't want to upset them. Otherwise excellent and thank you all who helped me. Just one silly thing, the electronic display said that I was in a queue and would have to wait one hour and forty minutes. I was the only patient and was seen immediately. A bit of a waste of money on useless gadgets. Still, managers do love their toys.
