My labouring experience wasn't the best - wrong information given about the birthing pools, made to wait in corridor for 3 hours while having contractions, ended up having epidural (which was great) but then was made to wait for 5 hours 10 cm dilated and told not to push without any explanation. My birth plan was completely disregarded, no one explained to me what and why it happened, prolonged discharge period (again no explanation), staff mixing my details with someone else, etc etc.. Bad experience overall.
