(as the patient),

My Doctor referred me as an emergency Hernia case to the A&E Dept.

From the moment of arrival at the Car Park where Security Staff saw the pain I was suffering and volunteered to take me in a wheelchair to the Ward where I was seen by the Receptionist, Nurse, Doctor and Registrar all within a minimum delay. Every member of staff we encountered went out of their way to treat us with care and understanding and reassurance.

The final prognosis from the Doctor and Registrar clarified my condition and reassured me that any deterioration they could deal with promptly. The whole visit to the hospital was a comforting experience where the staff were all cheerful and the hygiene and cleanliness of the ward was second to none.

Would you please pass on our thanks to all concerned in the A&E Dept?
