"Communication and consideration 0/10"

About: Blackpool Victoria Hospital

Anything else?

Today it is 5 weeks since I was referred to the Vic for an investigation of pain in a breast. I had a mamogram and ultrasound followed by a biopsy.Although the doctor said the mamogram and ultrasound seemed Ok he did the biopsy " to be on the safe side". Since then I have heard nothing despite numerous telephone calls asking for information about the tests I have been left in limbo with no consideration for the fact that I have been left worrying about what the future may or may not hold for me. promises made by various staff that they would call me back have been broken and assurances that a letter would be received "by the weekend" have proved to be worthless. I am absolutely disgusted by the total inconsideration shown .
