I was silly enough to get some chemicals into my eye on Monday of this week. after visiting minor injuries at Barncoose I was told to attend the eye clinic at Treliske the following day. I was slotted in that day to see a consultant who I found to be very professional, and understanding as were all of the staff on the unit. I was put at my ease by everybody I came into contact with and had everything explained to me in a way I could understand and felt that time was given to me to make sure that I knew what I had to do when I left the unit. Follow up appointments were easy to make and although I understand that far more serious cases than mine take time to deal with I was grateful that I was able to be seen when I was and dealt with in the manner that I was. I cannot express my gratitude to all of the staff in the Eye Clinic, and the professional manner in the way I was dealt with.
