On Sunday 18th August I needed to see a doctor because I had a chest infection. Our own surgery in Driffield only works business hours and in the absence of medical care my wife had to access the 111 system, which resulted in an ambulance, two paramedics and my being taken to Scarborough (a round trip of almost 50 miles for us). Despite the fact that the emergency department was being landed with GP work your staff, both the nurses and the doctor, were extremely good. We were treated with dignity, respect and I received first class care. Well done to you all. James Green
