"I was an in patient for 10 days ..."

What could be improved

I was an in patient for 10 days and the food was dreadful. Most of the hot meals were inedible, tasteless & congealed. Desserts were very limited and there was a shortage of fresh fruit. After a couple of bad experiences I decided to have baked potatoe & salad for every meal, but even the salad was served on a hot plate. I later discussed this with a friend who was in Harrogate Hospital at the same time as me and she sang the praises of the food there. How can 2 hospitals only 10 miles apart be so different?
