What I liked
I was in St James's for 3 days after being admitted for emergency surgery. For my entire stay, right from accident and emergency, the staff were fantastic. They could not have treated me better. The nurses were friendly, very supportive and made my stay much easier. The surgeons who treated me were also fantastic and answered all my questions, they gave me a lot of their time. The ward I stayed on was spotless, the food wasn't great but that is a small price to pay for such great care.
