"LRI children's ward.amazing!"

About: Leicester Royal Infirmary / Paediatrics

(as a parent/guardian),

After a horrendous time in A&E, three trips later and refusing to leave my daughter was finally diagnosed with a serious water infection. Once up to the ward the nurses where absolutely amazing! Cared for us and helped at every hour day and night, being 16 weeks pregnant at the time the support and help they gave myself and my partner was also absolutely amazing. After the 3nights we left gifts to say thank you...wonderful people couldn't thank them enough!

Response from University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust

Dear Supersam2204, thank you so much for taking the time to leave some feedback about your experience, and we hope that your daughter is feeling much better now.

Whilst its fantastic that the nurses in our Children's Hospital were amazing - and that will certainly be passed back to them - its really disappointing to hear about your poor experience through our Emergency Department.

If there is anything specifically that you'd like me to pass onto them, or you would like looking into, please email me (tiffany.jones@uhl-tr.nhs.uk)

Best wishes, Tiffany Jones, head of communications & engagement
