I have been living with RA for about three years now - I'm a male in my mid-40's. Having been in remission since last Autumn, I've had a flare-up which began two months ago and it has been quite aggressive. I had an appointment at Cannock Hospital Rheumatology centre yesterday, and put simply, they've sorted me out! After some pretty impressive musculoskeletal ultrasound to assess my condition, I had a steroid injection to alleviate all my current pain, and I've been put onto DMARD's to control the condition long-term. Follow-up appointment already booked whilst I was there, so no messing around for me making appointments. Everyone there is very professional, polite, friendly, understanding, and reassuring. Thanks for putting me back on the path to recovery, I really appreciate it.
