I went to see my GP @ Bowling Green Street as I have a recurring medical issue. Normally I would go straight to A&E for urgent treatment but my GP arranged for me to be admitted to A&E via way of the bed bureau.
I arrived at A&E along with the letter from my GP. I was seen within 15mins of arrival and was on a ward within 30 mins receiving treatment. I was transferred to a main ward and was discharged 5 days later.
I was most impressed at the quickness of A&E and feel seeing my GP first was the correct thing to do.
However, ward 24 needs a TV in the side ward.
