My wife and I have both recently been admitted to KGH via A&E and the Middleton Assessment unit ( we actually ended up in the MAU in the same bed - at different times ) Having read so many poor reports in the local press we both felt we must praise the staff who looked after us in both units and for me personally the ambulance men. They were all extremely professional and showed respect and care which we thought was exemplary as they were all clearly under pressure. From the doctors to the cleaners and al those in between a big pat on the back and thank you.
