"Must admit, communication from ..."

About: Hull Royal Infirmary

(as the patient),

What I liked

Must admit, communication from staff to patient is a bit hit and miss but on the whole mildly surprised at the positive “feel” I received on the Ward during my one day of admittance (particularly after all the negative press). I found though if you take the time to ask (instead of withering in a corner) the staff, at all levels, will advise and help (even after being discharged and needing help with a follow-up treatment 10 days later). Assessing the admittance, would say fairly impressed all round.

What could be improved

Fewer administrators/paper pushers and more grass roots care and attention (bureaucracy is the Devils Advocate in the hospital).
