What I liked
My mother was an in- patient 7 January to 21 February.
Your infection control is excellent, she did not catch as much as a cold! Strict visiting times and conditions.help here, I'm sure.
The care she received from first to last was excellent. The staff on Wards 9 and 36 are second to none.
All the family live at a distance from Hull. The staff were very good at keeping us informed and very flexible when traffic and road conditions meant we visited outside of usual times (though we tried not to take advantage of this)
The Prayer Room was much appreciated.
A big "thank you" to all at HRI
What could be improved
Mother was a long time in Casualty waiting for a bed, but the Casualty staff were very kind and caring. Several hours in the corridor is hard work for an old lady with a broken hip. Everybody was very apologetic, and apologies accepted.
At times it was hard to find a space in the car park.
