My wife was taken into HRI with a suspect stroke which eventually was a Epilepsy Siezure. After her third day she ended up in ward 110 and on her second day in that ward she had to be isolated because she had caught the Nora Virus Bug and was very ill. The isolation ward/room was quite clean except for the strip light shade in the ceiling above her bed. This shade was filthy and full of dead flies and bugs.On mentioning this to a male cleaner he informed us that it was 4 years since this shade had been removed and cleaned and not only full of flies etc but lots of rat droppings.The ward has supposed to have had a clean recently so I wander if they have cleaned out this shade.
