I am currently in the ward although I am being discharged even though I am in severe pain requiring morphine to kill it because its not a gynae problem they don't really care and told me to go through my gp or back through the whole system again starting with a and e. this is the second time I have been admitted for pain such as this and both times no one could find the cause or seem to care. Absolutely disgusting service if its not a gynae problem surely I should be moved to an assessment ward for further investigations?

Thanks for getting in touch and by the time you get to read this comment, the sister of your ward at the Lister will have met you and talked through what's happening. From what we understand, there seems to have been a bit of miscommunication about the next steps in your care - which rather than being discharged is to undergo further diagnostic tests to try and establish what the problem is and agree a treatment plan.
