"They saved my husbands life!"

About: The Royal London Hospital

Anything else?

It was last one Friday in April 2012, my husband was rushed to Barnet Hospital who missed the fact that he had a ruptured aneurysm and sent him home for the weekend. To cut a long story short - he was taken back in on the following Tuesday only to be told that the Royal Free had looked at his scans, diagnosed the above, and wanted him transported there immediately. Barnet were dreadful. But one he was in the Royal Free I cannot praise them enough. He was the best care we could wish for. Helpful, friendly and thorough - after his emergency surgery he was in a ward of 4 men who were literally watched every second of every day and night. It really put my mind at rest knowing that he was finally in such good hands!! Thank you to all the team in the Neurology department (although it has now moved to a different hospital next to Great Ormond Str). Big shame. My husband has another small aneurysm in his brain and will have to have surgery once again (albeit not emergency this time) to have it coiled. I sincerely wish the surgery was at the Royal Free again!
