On Saturday I had to attend the A & E after a fall resulting in a bad leg gash. The treatment I received was excellent. The department was spotless, so were the toilets. All the staff I dealt with were professional, caring and discussed with me the treatment. I would particularly like to thank Staff Nurse, Nurse practitioner, the Orthopaedic surgeon and his young femail doctor. They were excellent and a credit to the hospital. The orthopaedic surgeon did not have to stay and administer the stiches but he did and he was excellent. So caring and professional. The only down side was the wait but that is now to be expected at all A & Es but did apologise. Thank you again to all the excellent staff.
