Anything else?
My poor father has had the misfortune to be in this hospital for some 5 weeks - the nursing staff are poor at the best of times, rude at the worst - they do not like to be questioned and do not have good command of the English language - I only wish I had the money to take him to a private hospital and give him the best care but regrettably I cannot - he has worked all of his life - not retiring until he was 70 and now aged 83 finds himself in this awful predicament - further unknown to me and not discussed he has DNR all over his notes - I have an EPA for his care needs - no discussion with me and no consultation at all - how awful for him - all you want is a little bit of respect and care - the same we are asked to give the medical staff - unfortunately the same is not reciprocated . I will be lodging a complaint in the morning when more senior staff are there to speak with me - like most of the UK - the hospital does not have senior staff at weekends - I thought it was a full time job but it would appear not.
