"no explanation about high blood pressure/high cholesterol & diabetes"

About: Glenfield Hospital / Cardiology Leicester Royal Infirmary / General medicine NHS Leicester City CCG

(as the patient),

Doctor got rid off me in three minutes after telling me about high blood pressure/high cholesterol & diabetes. No explanation was provided or about the cause & effect of the above three. My medication was supposed to free after my diagnoses. It was three months when l found out about free medication through a friend. It was more disappointing that the Pharmacist did not tell me. I wrote several letters to the surgery for an explanation. It took several letters & meetings before l got a letter of apology. This whole episode was disgraceful and do not want this to happen to any patient at this surgery again.

I'm really sorry to read about your experience Sher Khan.

It's not clear from your comment, but I get the impression you're referring to your own GP rather than one of our hospital doctors.

However, if I'm incorrect about that please get in contact with me and I will do my best to look into your concerns.

Kind regards,
