I was in Colchester General Hospital for an operation on the 2nd of August 2013, I was in A2 which i think was Brightlingsea ward, From the minute i arrived at the assessment ward right up to and including the operation and after care was absolutely fantastic and all the staff from nurses to surgeons, cleaners and catering staff were amazing. They could not do enough for me to make sure that everything was just right and i think these professional people that are in a highly stressful environment should be given some recognition for what they do and i for one am very proud of our NHS. And i would also like to say that this is true of all of my stays in Colchester hospital, i just wished that cuts in spending was not aimed at all our emergency services as these people are somehow managing to deliver excellent care "as if they were not under enough stress already" Please keep doing what your doing because your the back bone of financially stressed life line but still the best medical health care system, Again a big thank you.
