"Only one word to describe my experience at HRI -..."

About: Huddersfield Royal Infirmary

Anything else?

My first experience as an inpatient since I was born 87 years ago was first class. I was informed at all times of progress, scans and X-rays were performed with minimum waiting times. Staff at all levels were cheerful, polite and helpful. I would particularly like to comment on the diligence of the cleaning team who were meticulous in carrying out the routine daily cleaning. Food was excellent, and for a poor appetite soup and yogurt was a good combination. The only suggestion for improvement that I would make would be the offer of small portions for those with poor appetites.

Response from Huddersfield Royal Infirmary

Thank you for your kind words, and well done on achieving 87 years without having and inpatient stay! We are delighted to hear your first experience was a positive one. We take on board your comments regarding the portion sizes and will pass on to the department concerned. We sincerely hope, however, that you don't need to take advantage of our services again in the near future! Best wishes to you.l
