My first experience as an inpatient since I was born 87 years ago was first class. I was informed at all times of progress, scans and X-rays were performed with minimum waiting times. Staff at all levels were cheerful, polite and helpful. I would particularly like to comment on the diligence of the cleaning team who were meticulous in carrying out the routine daily cleaning. Food was excellent, and for a poor appetite soup and yogurt was a good combination. The only suggestion for improvement that I would make would be the offer of small portions for those with poor appetites.
