"A&E and MAU"

About: Queen Elizabeth Hospital (Gateshead)

Anything else?

My elderly father has been discharged today after attendance at A&E last night followed by admission to MAU. Whilst I was with him in A&E he was treated with the utmost respect by kind & caring staff. My father says that whilst on MAU he has been very well looked after by the staff there & was kept informed as to what the plans were for him. A big thank-you to all involved :)

Thank you so much for your kind words about our A&E and MAU units - I have passed on your comments to the matrons for those departments - I'm glad that your father was so well looked after and I hope he continues to recover well. With very best wishes Lucia Hiden Head of Communications Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Gateshead.
