Anything else?
I arrived at the A&E department at 9.45am on Friday 5th July as I had suffered a fall earlier that day. After checking in at reception I was immediately taken to an assessment room to be met by a doctor and two nurses. I explained my fall and was assessed and sent for an X-ray. As soon as I returned from X-ray I was seen by the doctor who showed me my X-ray and explained that I had broken some ribs. He said that they would be extremely painful for a couple of weeks but also advised me on how to stand and also to breathe. He then Issued medication and I was able to leave. The whole experience only lasted 35 minutes including waiting for an X-ray. The service was efficient, thorough and carried out by a dedicated team. I was extremely I pressed with the service and would like to pass on my appreciation to the staff who helped me that day. The service provide by Darlington Memorial A&E department is excellent, thank you.
