The staff in EAU were excellent. Professional, attentive and friendly. I could not criticise them in any way. Yes you have to sit and wait for results but that is life and you have to expect this. I did not feel there was any undue delay on arrival and I was seen quickly and efficiently. The cleanliness of the ward was excellent. I was transferred to a ward by an extremely good humoured porter. Terling ward staff were friendly and welcoming and very professional. The whole experience was very positive and I was very impressed by Broomfield Hospital, well done to all the staff. As a GP myself I get tired of hearing patients complaining about the service at our local hospitals. During my admission I heard a patient asking a busy nurse on the ward for an emery board and grumbling when she had to wait. this is a hospital, not a beauty parlour, what on earth do people expect! The nurses work extremely hard and are a credit to MEHT. A great hospital and excellent service.
