Anything else?
I read a complaint that stated ' these nurses did not appear overworked in the slightest', this is a totally untrue and unfair statement. I have been a patient on the victor bonney ward early this year, and the poor nurses worked very hard the few days that i spent there. They are very caring but unfortunely it is quite obvious that they are short of staff and are unable to give their full attention as they would like. I have read some the bad comments but some of these patients should take time and think carefully of criticising or giving bad comments but rather should challenge the head of dpeartment to employ more staff to be able to give more attention to patients. I think some patients need to relaise that nurses are also human beings and should be praised for the hard work that they put in. I'm sure that they skip meals and toilet breaks to ensure that we get the care and attention that we need. The nurses on the victor bonney ward, were professional at all times and made sure that i was pain free and comfortable through out my stay.
