They don't want annoying visitors coming into and out of "their" hospital so on a normal wage here in Cornwall it is impossible to visit your family daily. £10.00 for over 4 hours is just crazy. I need to visit every day to help feed and change and look after my husband. Basic care that should be provided. It isn't.
The poor staff are run off their feet because of poor money management. The hospital is millions of £ in debt; the mamagers won't fill any vacancies. None at all even nurses if its necessary for looking after patients. Heaven help NHS care in Cornwall. Such a sad situation. I just wanted to tell some-one.
