Anything else?
After many years with colitis as an outpatiient i have just about given up on the gastro department, i have spent quite a few years now just stuck at home due to colitis, if i need to go anywhere i have to stop eating for a week or two just to make sure i can make an appointment, i am intolerant to most of the usual drugs except steroids, due to use of steroids i ended up with shingles that i have had for about 8 months now, i have just about begged the gastro and my local dr's to try something different but it all falls on deaf ears, they seem to not want to try anything different even though there are other meds available to try. yet another summer i have spent mainly indoors to many visits to the toilet and bleeding but no help for me, will probably have to spend between 2 and 4 weeks just on water to get the latest flare under control.
