I had a back injury in February this year. My local A & E hospital couldn't find anything wrong so I was sent to Homerton by my GP. The referral was very quick and I was seen much quicker than I had expected. The staff in the x-ray dept were excellent. Friendly, efficient. I was in a lot of pain and slow on my feet but they were patient with me. I had a short wait while the MRI was reviewed and it showed a slipped disc pressing on a nerve. This was explained and I was given advice and a set of futuristic looking crutches to help me start walking again. Hospital looked clean and shiny.
