after arriving by ambulance to A&E i was left in a cubicle for over 4 hours in absolute agony waiting to see a doctor when i was told that they were all busy and all i could have for pain relief was gas and air, although my partner went over to the desk to ask someone for something stronger the staff were playing on the computer and took no notice of what my partner was saying by this time i was getting extremely frustrated, then 5 hours went by and i was then moved to ward 14 when i arrived onto this ward i was met by a lovely nurse who made me feel at ease and told me everything that was going to happen she settled me into my bed made me a little more comfortable and from that moment i was treated with dignity and respect throughout my stay i could not of asked for better care from the staff on this ward nothing was too much trouble excellent care from all the staff huge thanks to ward 14 :)
