About: East Surrey Hospital / Paediatrics NHS 111 South East Coast Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust

(as a parent/guardian),

My son was taken to East Surrey Hospital on the 12th August by an ambulance that was called by NHS Direct. From the moment I called NHS Direct I cannot fault the excellent service we received from them, the ambulance service, A & E and Outwood ward where myself and my son stayed for two nights.

All the doctors and nurses who looked after us were very caring and made my son feel very safe when he was at his most vulnerable.

Thank you very much for your kind words about our 111 service (the successor to NHS Direct) and South East Coat Ambulance Service. I was heartened to read that you felt we provided excellent service, as although this is what we always aspire to, it is so nice to hear it direct from patients.
