"lack of communication"

About: Colchester General Hospital

Anything else?

my sister has been at the hospital for 8 weeks. thank you for saving her life. it has been a terrible time for the family and at times made worse by such lack of communication between staff and family. one says one thing then another totally different. all we got was oh darling she is fine today. after 7 weeks we got a diagnosis and a word to look up on the internet as noone explained a thing. then a meeting with doctors etc. nursing home or maybe mental hospital.....another week later minds changed and another meeting tomorrow. have spent all day sick with worry and guess what. heard tonight from my sister the meeting is cancelled cause one person cant make it. thank you for not informing us by staff. families are left completely in the dark all the way. why cant the doctors say talk to family once a week. as far as my sister is concerned she is at end stage of liver disease and does not seem to be aware of it? such a lack of human support .so sad at such a horrible time .
