"I recommend anyone with lung disease to attend this wonderful regime"

About: Bassetlaw / Community therapy

(as the patient),

I was referred to pulmonary rehabilitation after recovering from legionaires disase.

Prior to attending I suffered severe breathing difficulties and acute muscle loss on my legs and upper body.

Over the six weeks my breathing improved greatly, plus my muscle redevelopment. I found the course both mentally and physically great. I left after the six weeks more confident and stronger in my mind and body.

The staff were great. They were friendly, informative, and supportive throughout.

I am so grateful and feel I have made friendships and would recommend anybody with lung disease to attend this wonderful regime.

Response from Bassetlaw Health Partnership, Nottinghamshire Healthcare

Thank you very much for taking the time to give us this feedback on the service you received from the Pulmonary Rehabilitation Team. They are a very dedicated and hard working team and they really appreciate hearing back from their clients. I am glad that you have improved so much and remember that you can access the team again in the future should you need to.
