Anything else?
Throughout July and August I have had several appointments at the eye unit for diagnosis and treatment for AMD. Although pressure of numbers attending the unit made waiting times a little long, I did not feel that they were unreasonable. All the staff who dealt with me , nurses, doctors and consultant, were absolutely first class. Everyone was kind and reassuring, there was no rush in dealing with me, and I felt that every care was taken to make sure that they got the right diagnosis. My thanks to everyone working at the eye unit, an example of the NHS at its very best!
