I've been to A&E a few times over the last year, and have had the long wait but understand that there are often people coming in through the ambulance entrance who are far more needy. Today I had to attend after lopping the top of my finger off and I cannot fault in any way the service that I received. I was triaged rapidly and treated with good humour, professionalism and speed. I hate being the centre of attention for minor medical complaints but the staff were wonderful and made me feel at ease and confident that I was being given the best treatment. Thank you to all the staff, especially the triage nurse and the wonderful doctor .
