"Terrible experience at MRI"

About: Manchester Royal Infirmary

Anything else?

It's my worst experience of a hospital. My Dad was admitted at AMU and AM4. He was automatically given Carribean food as he is black. My Dad's intake of food was considerably low. Called nurses at AM4 to attention. Their response was they cannot force him to eat. At no point was a dietician notified. His discharge was mixed up, my mum was told he had been discharge she got home he wasn't here and it was when she called the ward that she was then told he was in hospital. Now both parents are in their seventies and my mum has Parkinson's. the occupational therapist couldn't use her judgement for the right support at home. My Dad walks with a Zimmer frame his mobility significantly reduced and got worse at MRI - guess what, since his discharge no Physio has been to the home to walk with him. His muscles are getting weaker, he fell at home today
