"I will continue to wait in pain"

About: Telford referral and quality service (TRAQS)

(as a service user),

I visited the doctor in early may, and then later in early June. In late June I had an x-ray and waited a month for the result.

Now I have been told an appointment date will be mid September, for treatment some time after mid September. A wait of 5 months.

Not good enough. I will continue to wait in pain.

Thank you for your comments regarding your recent referral.

TRAQS aims to process your referral within 5 working days of receipt from your GP Practice. We will then contact you to offer the first bookable appointment or choice as to where you would prefer to attend your appointment. TRAQS has no control on the appointment slots available at hospitals and I appreciate that when you maybe experiencing pain you want to be seen quickly.

I am sorry that your experience of TRAQS has not been to your expectations but hope that you will soon feel the benefits from your appointment.
