I had an operation as a day patient on 7 August, which was the first time that I had had a general anaesthetic. Everybody from the consultant down to the Trainee nurse were helpful, supportive and encouraging in everything I needed to ask. They eased my concerns and made me feel that I was important that nothing was too much. It made my short stay acceptable.
