"Physiotherapy"

About: Countess Of Chester Hospital

Anything else?

This is sited in a wholly inadequate building; a portacabin. I waited for about 30 minutes for a relative I was giving a lift to. Comments are on the building only - the staff seemed charming and efficient (though 2 months wait for appointments seems to imply totally under resourced bless them - are you listening Trust management?) The toilet seat is stained yellow on the underside. This is urine guys. Not nice. The seat needs changing obviously. You can hear what staff are saying to patients when they are in clinic - not acceptable. The ramp to the front door is sagging in places - this will go through sooner or later and someone will get hurt. In this day and age can you really not have patient services delivered in a building? I note Trust managers and admin are indoors - priorities should be the other way round - stick management in nasty temporary buildings and patients and the staff that care for them inside - if anyone actually has to be sited in such shoddy surroundings, which frankly is mad. The NHS didn't just start a few weeks ago - there should be proper buildings for all services by now for pities sake.
