Had recently moved from Greenwich to Medway, and so became a KMPT case transferred from Oxleas Greenwich.
I had recently been an in-patient within Greenwich. I was at a crisis point. One Friday afternoon, I presented to the Maritime's A&E explaining the recent feelings throughout the previous week, and also the recent admission to Greenwich's service.
They thought that I was too with it as I had a cup of tea. The reason I had a cup of tea is because I had walked all the way from Strood to Gillingham (a good hour's walk), and was somewhat dehydrated, and they were unable to help, and told me I was a Greenwich problem. No, no, no, I was a Medway problem as the address / GP had moved to Medway by that time. Nice try. I told them.
A week after the MMH A&E presentation, I attended a Christmas do in New Eltham, whereby crisis feelings re-occurred, and re-presented to Greenwich A&E, and explained that I was a Medway problem, but previously (a matter of about three weeks), a Greenwich problem, who did help, admit, and discharge (to Medway). However, the after-crisis care from Medway was very good.
