From arrival on ward G5 I was welcomed to the ward & explained what was going to happen . I had my transplant at midnight and woke up sometime later . On waking I was treated with great care . I was a patient for 6 weeks & then treated in the outpatient dept with still high level of care . I am now on the road to recovery . I was picked up from home on every visit with no problems . All the staff from the ward cleaning , food distribution team , nurses right up to senior consultants all treated me with respect & dignity . When discharged the team in thr transport dept. also did a very good job . So thanks to all involved . Paul , nottm
