In the last 3/4 years my wife and I have used this hospital on a number of occasions and in virtually all respects we have found it to be of the highest standard :- - superb accommodation and facilities -1st. class nursing and care and very friendly personnel generally - consultants are highly skilled clinicians. The one blemish is the apparent lack of secretarial support for the consultants with the result that if you wish to follow up a matter with a consultant, outside the face to face consultations , it is virtually impossible to make contact .An example - following a consultation my wife was expecting an appointment this week (ending 9/8/13) for a procedure to be carried out and this has not materialised ; it has not yet proved possible to obtain information on the situation in spite of enquiries made.
