Anything else?
My mother has recently been diagnosed with terminal cancer and was admitted into ward 21. All the family were devasted opon hearing the news and it was a double blow for the family as my daughter was due to get married abroad on the 3 August and we had the dilema of not knowing if we were going to find my mother still alive upon my return. Thankfully mum did manage to hang-on and thanks to the staff on ward 21 the week the immeduate family were abroad they made her stay as comfortable and humane as possible. They even agreed that we could email photos over so mum could see her granddaughter in her wedding dress. Upon our return after the wedding the staff ensured that systems were in place so we could take mum home where she wanted to be. The ward Sister even went the extra mile and personally delivered mum's medication to her home. I want to say a big thank you to all the staff for looking after my mum for the full seven weeks in hospital and for their support and understanding during such a difficult times- Thank you!
