"Ante natal clinic"

About: Royal Surrey County Hospital

Anything else?

Having seen a poor review of the ante natal care at the Royal Surrey I have to say I have had the total opposite experience. Yes, it could do with a fan or two when the weather is hot, but apart from that the staff have been extremely helpful and gone out of their way to make the experience as pleasant as it could be. They do indeed weigh you infront of other people but no one else can see the actual figure so I don't see why that matters. The staff are attentive, and considering how busy they are happy to take the time to answer any questions you may have. I spent an unscheduled 30 minutes discussing my apprehension about having a natural labour with an extremely understanding midwife who couldn't have been nicer. Obviously, nothing is perfect, and people's experiences and perceptions are different, but I've been to the clinic about a dozen times over this pregnancy and have found the care to be exemplary.

Hi, Thanks for taking the time to share your comments. We are pleased to hear that your experience was as it good as it could be. With the hot weather, we did try to ensure that fans were delivered to all wards areas, so apologies if you did not receive one. We have passed your comments on to the team to ensure they get the recognition they deserve. Best wishes, Royal Surrey County Hospital
