"It seemed an unhappy place"

About: Ashley House / Recovery service

(as the patient),

I recently moved from the Sefton area to Widnes. I was given support to get off the drink in Sefton and the support off CRI staff was great.

I recently came into Ashley House for support and I won't be going again. The staff were ok but whilst in the waiting room I could hear everything that was being said in the small office. From this I could hear the staff complaining about things. This made me feel that this wasn't therapeutic and from the tone of staff's complaints it seemed an unhappy place.

Hi Smokybacon,

Thank you for your feedback,

We are pleased to hear that you received the support you required whilst in CRI Sefton service.

We at Ashley house are saddened to hear that your experience of our service here wasn’t as you would have liked it to be, your feedback is being taken up with the staff team here to help us improve the services we provide.

I would ask that if you could give the service another chance, we would much appreciate this. The staff team know how important services are and would like you to re-engage.

Could you please come in or call myself (John Deane) or another Senior Practitioner on 0151 422 1400.

Once again thank you for your feedback in helping us improve our service
