"My stay on Forest Ward, Lings Bar Hospital Gamston, Nottingham"

About: Lings Bar Hospital / Inpatient Nursing and Rehab (Lings Bar)

(as the patient),

I have just left Forest Ward at Lings Bar after 7 weeks. I feel I must recount the fantastic way the staff on the ward have carried out their work in spite of being short-staffed.

They were always kind and caring no matter what menial jobs they undertook and there were many. Granted one has to learn patience but this was no fault of theirs as there were many other patients to look after.

I am glad to be back in my own home but I am still sorry to leave the care and company of the nursing staff I got to know so well. I am a war veteran now aged 90 but I will remember them, both male and female for getting me back on the road to recovery.

The ward manager, sisters, nurses and healthworkers etc and includes the white coated angels (physios) who performed miracles - Fantastic girls! I thank you all so much, it was a privilege to know you all.

Thank you very much for such wonderful feedback on the care you have recieved from the team on Forest Ward. It is always lovely for the team to hear such lovely comments when a patient has felt so well cared for. The team always strive to deliver the best care they are able to in often difficult circumstances.

It is great news to hear you have done so well and are now at home. I will pass your comments on to the team directly as it will make their day.

Thank you so much for taking time to feedback your experience in our care, it is important to us.
