When booking my appointment for a transvaginal ultrasound scan the admin staff neglected to tell me it is vital for the accuracy of the test that it is performed at the right point in my cycle so when i attended at the wrong time it wasted NHS resources and my time. However this did work out better for me in the long run as my GP referred me to their local clinic that were amazing. The sonographer kept me waiting on the examination chair for 20 minutes (in a room that opens directly onto a large waiting room- the nurse kept the door open to talk to a colleague while i was behind the curtain!) and when the sonographer eventually turned up they seemed uninterested, uncaring and put-out to be seeing me. The sonographer made me worry and I actually left in tears! Don't go here for any scans see your GP and go to a local clinic!
